I booked a family room with a balcony and the view was fantastic. the location was great with beautiful surroundings. - the beach was just a short walk away from the hotel.

The hotel was fairly clean and had decent and best staff at the reception desk. The superior king room we stayed in was reasonably large with big beds. We booked it for US$ 163.
Didn't like the area, it was not nice.

Distance from the beach.
Window lock was old and loose. It would be nice if microwave can be used. Dinning room foods were just too ordinary. Probably better to upgrade coffee.

The postition was excellent
On checking out, staff failed to ask about our visit. They couldn't retrieve a supposed message left on our phone. Smoking was permitted outside the breakfast area, where we were eating our breakfast. We had to move back inside where it was quite warm. A cockroach crawled across me in bed! No map of the area was given to us on arrival. We weren't asked if we'd like some information about the area e.g. What's on.

I had a relaxing stay for 2 nights and I'm glad I chose this place. the room had a nice view of the beaches. the hotel's location was central, close to great restaurants. the Coolangatta district was definitely worth exploring.

the rooms were fine the function we had there was really good the food was good
reception staff were rude and very snide not willing to admit they were wrong and that staff could not use a computer properly. also could not provide a reception manager when asked
